TEXTURE + FLOW is an exploration of pattern, repetition & the meditative experience of making. Each piece is wheel thrown before texture is added, using a variety of handmade wooden tools, by hand-pressing one indent at time. Craig enjoys using small, seemingly unsubstantial marks to create a larger textured design. The repetitive nature of the creation process invokes a flow state, where small details transforms into intricate patterns.
